Asphalt accelerated aging test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The asphalt accelerated aging test uses high temperature and compressed air to accelerate the aging (oxidation) of asphalt. The purpose is to simulate the oxidative aging of asphalt during road use and evaluate the oxidative aging resistance of different asphalts under test temperature and pressure conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various building materials, products and components, and provides professional accelerated aging testing services for asphalt.

Scope of tests

is an exterior wall exterior insulation system composed of base wall, fixed materials, insulation materials, and protective materials. It is prepared according to the construction method of exterior wall exterior insulation engineering for weather resistance testing.

Test method

The SH/T0736 asphalt rotating film oven test method (RTFOT) residue is placed in the stainless steel plate of the GB/T5304 petroleum asphalt film oven test method (TFOT) according to the asphalt film thickness specified in the test, and then placed in a pressure vessel with an air pressure of 2.1MPa, and aged at the selected aging temperature for 20 hours. Finally the residue was vacuum degassed.
