Test Background
Among building materials and components, exposed metals and their coating products will be affected by various environmental factors and will corrode to varying degrees. Different types of materials will corrode in different situations in different environments. Accelerated Salt Spray/Dry/Wet Cyclic Exposure Testing of Construction Materials predicts the long-term results of the corrosion resistance of various metals and their coating products when exposed to salt spray/dry/wet environmental conditions.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various building materials, products and components, and provides professional salt spray/dry/wet cycle exposure accelerated testing services for building materials and components.
Scope of tests
1. Various metals and their coating products, including thermosetting coatings, water-soluble coatings and latex paint systems.
2. Metals and their alloys, metal coatings, anodized films, and organic coatings on metal substrates.
Test method
Cycle A: The repeated test cycle can be 30 cycles (240 h), 60 cycles (480 h), 90 cycles (720 h) or 180 cycles (1440 h).
Cycle B: Repeat the test cycle to 840 h.
Cycle C: Repeat the test cycle to 1000 h.
Cycle D: Repeat the test cycle for a total of 28 cycles (168 h).
Cycle E: Repeated test cycles can be 3 cycles (24 h), 6 cycles (48 h), 12 cycles (96 h), 30 cycles (240 h), 45 cycles (360 h), 60 cycles (480 h), 90 cycles (720 h) or 180 cycles (1440 h).
Cycle F: The repeated test cycle can be 4 cycles (24 h), 8 cycles (48 h), 16 cycles (96 h), 40 cycles (240 h), 80 cycles (480 h) or 160 cycles (960 h).
Cycle G: Repeat the test cycle to 2000 h.
