Test Background
The artificial climate accelerated aging test of building materials is an artificial climate accelerated aging test using xenon lamp as the light source. The artificial climate accelerated aging test of building materials can detect the aging test of materials under natural conditions. The simulation can accelerate the aging time and conditions to test the aging speed and structural changes of materials under the premise of meeting natural conditions, providing a reference for product design and production.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various building materials, products and components, and provides professional artificial climate accelerated aging test services for building materials and products.
Scope of tests
1. Inorganic materials, including metallic materials and non-metallic materials, such as natural stone, burnt earth products, cement, concrete and silicate products, etc.
2. Organic materials, including plant materials, synthetic polymer materials (such as plastics, coatings, adhesives, etc.) and asphalt materials.
3. Composite materials, including asphalt concrete, polymer concrete, etc., are generally composed of inorganic non-metallic materials and organic materials.
Test method
1. Xenon arc lamps equipped with appropriate filters, when properly maintained, produce radiation with an optically harmonic energy distribution in the ultraviolet and visible regions of terrestrial sunlight.
2. Expose the sample to the light source under specified environmental conditions.
3. The test procedure includes measuring the irradiance and irradiation amount on the surface of the sample.
4. It is recommended to use a similar material with known properties as a reference and expose it at the same time as the test material.
5. Test results obtained from different types of devices should not be compared unless the reproducibility of the test material between these devices has been determined.
