Cold environment testing of mechanical products

The main impacts of cold environments on mechanical products include: moisture ingress and condensate freezing, causing pneumatic system failure; low temperature causes instrument panels to frost and pointers to get stuck, causing unreliable movements; changes in ambient temperature cause connected components to loosen; sealing devices and sealing materials fail at low temperatures, etc.
Therefore, after the mechanical products used in dry and cold areas pass the basic performance test, corresponding environmental test items should be selected based on the sensitivity of various products to cold environmental factors, and artificial simulated environmental tests should be conducted on the products. Cold environment tests can select different test items based on the impact of environmental factors.
