Weather resistance test of building doors and windows

Weather resistance test of building doors and windows-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The weather resistance of building doors and windows refers to the ability of building doors and windows to withstand climate changes such as temperature, humidity, infrared radiation, and water spray. The weather resistance of building doors and windows is characterized by the changes in air tightness and water tightness before and after the test.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various building doors and windows, and provides professional weather resistance performance testing and other reliability testing services for building door and window products.

Test method

One side of the specimen simulates indoor temperature and humidity environmental conditions, and the other side simulates outdoor temperature, humidity, infrared radiation, water spray and other climatic cycle changes. The ability of building doors and windows to withstand climate change is evaluated by measuring the changes in air-tightness and water-tightness performance test results of the specimen before and after the test, as well as severe rod deformation, panel rupture, severe leakage, condensation (frost) and other conditions that may occur during the test.

Test result

The test results should include the following:
a) Air tightness and water tightness test results of the specimen before and after the weather resistance test;
b) Severe deformation of rods, cracked panels, severe leakage, condensation (frost), etc. that occurred during the test.

Test standard:

GB/T 39524-2020 Test method for weather resistance of building doors and windows
JG/T 211 On-site testing method for airtightness, watertightness and wind pressure resistance of building exterior windows
