Test Background
Salt spray aging test is a test method that exposes samples to salt spray for aging. It uses artificial simulated salt spray environmental conditions created by salt spray testing equipment to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials. The synthetic stone salt spray aging test can evaluate the corrosion resistance of synthetic stone in a neutral salt spray atmosphere.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various synthetic stones, and provides professional reliability testing services such as salt spray aging testing for synthetic stone products.
Scope of tests
According to the binder material of synthetic stone, it is classified: cement synthetic stone, resin type synthetic stone, composite synthetic stone; According to the aggregate of synthetic stone: marble (or calcium) synthetic stone, quartz (or siliceous) synthetic stone, marble or other calcareous synthetic stone, quartz, quartz sand, granite, porphyry and other siliceous stones, synthetic stones made of other stone materials (such as dolomite, serpentine, calcite, etc.).
Test method
By continuously spraying neutral salt spray for 4 hours and then air-drying in the box for 8 hours, repeat this operation several times to obtain the appearance changes, mass loss rate and gloss retention rate of the sample to evaluate the salt spray aging resistance of the sample.
The test solvent is sodium chloride solution; the instruments and equipment include a blast drying box, an acidometer, a gloss meter, a balance, and a salt spray circulation system (including a salt spray circulation box, a spray device, and a salt spray collector).
