Test Background
A humid environment can easily cause surface deterioration of materials and also lead to deterioration of electrical properties. At the same time, humidity at high temperatures can also cause contact contamination of contact parts, resulting in poor contact contact. The main failure modes induced by humidity include: electrical short circuit, stuck moving components, circuit board corrosion, surface damage, reduced performance of insulating materials, etc. The infrared detector damp heat test can determine the suitability of the infrared detector for storage and transportation under constant damp heat and alternating damp heat conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various infrared detectors, and provides professional environmental testing services such as humidity and heat testing for infrared detector products.
Severity
Use the temperature, humidity and duration of the test to indicate the severity of the test. The specific value is specified by the relevant specifications, but priority should be selected from the following data:
Relative humidity: 90% ~ 95%.
Temperature: 20, 25, 40℃. Temperature tolerance ±2°C.
Duration: 2, 4, 6, 10, 21, 56 days.
The duration in this test is calculated from when the environment where the test sample is located reaches the specified temperature and humidity.
Test method
1. Constant heat and humidity test
2. Alternating heat and humidity test
