Test Background
The ability of a nuclear radiation detector to maintain its performance after a period of use is called stability. In addition to its own structure, the factors that affect the long-term stability of nuclear radiation detectors are mainly the use environment. Therefore, in order for the sensor to have good stability, it must have strong environmental adaptability.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various nuclear radiation detectors, and provides professional environmental testing services such as high temperature testing, low temperature testing, constant humidity and heat testing, and temperature change testing for detector products.
Low-temperature test
Test purpose: To determine the adaptability of the detector to low-temperature storage and use.
Test method: Place the pretreated test sample into a test chamber at room temperature, and then adjust the temperature in the test chamber to the specified value. After the temperature of the test sample has stabilized, it is exposed to this condition for the specified duration.
The temperature stabilization time can be selected from the range of 0.5 h~16 h. During the test, the test sample can be in working condition (low temperature use) or not in working condition (such as low temperature storage).
High-temperature test
Test purpose: To determine the adaptability of the detector for high-temperature storage and use.
Test method: Place the pretreated test sample into a test chamber at room temperature, and then adjust the temperature in the test chamber to the specified value at a specified rate.
After the temperature of the test sample has stabilized, it is exposed to this condition for the specified duration.
The temperature stabilization time is selected from the product standard in the range of 0.5 h ~ 16 h. During the test, the test sample can be in working condition (high temperature use) or not in working condition (such as high temperature storage).
Steady Damp-heat Test
Test purpose: To determine the adaptability of the detector to storage and use under high relative humidity conditions.
Test method: Put the pretreated test sample into a test chamber with normal atmospheric conditions, adjust the temperature and relative humidity in the test chamber to the specified value, and expose it to the specified duration under this condition.
The requirements for test humidification are as follows:
a) Continuously discharge the condensed water in the test chamber, and the discharged condensed water will no longer be used to generate moisture before purification treatment;
b) Do not let condensed water on the top and walls of the box drip onto the test sample.
Temperature change test
Test purpose: To determine the detector's tolerance, adaptability and working ability to rapid changes in ambient temperature.
Test method:
a) Test with specified temperature change rate: Put the test sample in working or non-working state into the test box, and change the temperature in the test box between low temperature and high temperature at a certain rate, so that the test sample is subjected to temperature changes, and performance characteristics are tested at the same time.
b) Test with specified transfer time: The test sample is alternately exposed to low-temperature and high-temperature air (or suitable protective gas) to subject it to the effects of rapid temperature changes.
