Optical fiber mechanical properties and environmental testing

Optical fiber mechanical properties and environmental testing-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

In actual engineering applications, optical fibers (optical cables) not only have to withstand strong mechanical tension and pressure, but also need to adapt to various environmental changes, such as temperature, humidity, etc. These factors may affect the transmission characteristics of optical fibers.
The purpose of optical fiber product mechanical properties and environmental testing is to determine the mechanical properties and environmental adaptability of optical fiber products. The mechanical properties of optical fiber mainly include resistance to lateral pressure, tensile strength, bending and twisting properties.
The Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various optical fibers, and provides professional mechanical performance and environmental testing services such as tensile strength testing, moist heat testing, dry heat testing, temperature cycle testing, and water immersion testing for optical fiber products.

Scope of tests

Class A multimode fiber: A1, A2, A3, A4
