Test Background

Thermal aging test of cable insulation materials provides qualitative or quantitative results on the ability of the sample to resist thermal aging by periodically observing, inspecting and performing performance tests on the sample. Through thermal aging, defects in the insulation and sheath materials of cables and optical cables and hidden dangers in the assembly process can be exposed in advance, and early failures of products can be eliminated as much as possible before normal use, thus ensuring that the products shipped from the factory can withstand the test of time.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various cables and optical cables, and provides professional thermal aging testing services for cable and optical cable insulation and sheath materials.

Scope of tests

The most common types of insulation and sheathing materials for electrical and optical cables, wires and cords used in power distribution and communications, including polymeric insulation and sheathing materials for marine and offshore cables and optical cables.
