Test Background

The accelerated aging test of polymer poroelastic materials is a test procedure that uses polymer poroelastic materials to simulate natural aging effects such as oxidation or hydrolysis caused by moisture, and measures the relevant physical properties of the sample before and after the prescribed treatment.
The Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various polymer poroelastic materials and provides professional accelerated aging testing services for electrical and electronic products.

Scope of tests

is suitable for open-cell latex, open-cell and closed-cell polyurethane foam and closed-cell polyolefin foam.

Test method

After conditioning, the specified physical property tests should be carried out, and the specimens should be quickly placed under aging conditions. If a destructive test, such as a tensile property test, is conducted, the test to compare the test material and the aged material is best carried out at the same time after aging.
The aging conditions are selected from the following two and are suitable for the materials being tested. It is best not to age materials with different chemical compositions in the same closed system.
It is divided into two aging methods: hot air aging and moisture aging.
