Test Background
The special environmental test for electronic and electrical products is an artificial simulated environmental test for electrical and electronic products (including communication products) under plateau, dry heat, and dry hot desert environmental conditions. It assesses the environmental adaptability of electrical and electronic products used under plateau, dry heat, and dry hot desert environmental conditions at an altitude of 5,000 meters and below, including communication products.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various electrical and electronic products, and provides professional low-pressure testing, low-temperature testing, low-temperature/low-pressure comprehensive testing, high-temperature testing and other special environmental testing services for electrical and electronic products.
Test Reason
1. In a low pressure environment, as the altitude increases and the air density decreases, the arc extinguishing ability of the contacts of switch electrical products using air as the arc extinguishing medium decreases, and the switching capacity and electrical life are affected to a certain extent.
2. Large temperature differences can easily cause product deformation, cracking, and circuit open circuits. Large temperature differences can also easily form condensation, which affects the insulation of products. Especially products with closed boxes can accumulate water and get damp due to condensation, causing insulation short circuits.
3. Dry climate is particularly conducive to the generation of electrostatic charges. The accumulation of electrostatic charges and subsequent discharge will cause serious interference to electronic circuits or communication systems, causing them to malfunction or malfunction. In severe cases, they will be damaged by static electricity.
4. Solar radiation in plateau and hot dry desert areas is very strong, which will increase the temperature rise of the product, accelerate the insulation aging of the product, and shorten the service life and reliability.
5. Heavy sand and dust in plateau and desert areas often cause poor electrical contacts, lines are corroded by dust, pipes are blocked, operating machinery is worn, and cooling or lubricating oil is polluted. In addition, heavy sandstorms can also cause polishing and wear of equipment casings.
6. The transportation conditions in plateau desert areas are harsh, mainly due to vibration, bumps, and extreme high and low temperatures, which can easily cause products to be damaged during transportation.
7. The soil in desert areas is loose, which may cause damage to instruments and equipment due to vibration.
Test Items
Climate environment test: low pressure test, low temperature test, low temperature/low pressure comprehensive test, high temperature test, temperature change test, damp heat test, solar radiation test, sand and dust test, salt spray test
Mechanical environment test: vibration (sinusoidal) test, antistatic test
Content of the test
1. Inspect the appearance and electrical and mechanical properties: pressure strength, arc extinguishing ability, anti-corona, starting, temperature rise, appearance, sealing, starting performance, mechanical strength of non-metal parts, circuit making and breaking ability, insulation, aging, temperature rise, mechanical strength, cracking, insulation, electrical properties, etc.
2. Check whether the product can work normally or return to normal operation in time during the antistatic test.
