Wet Heat Testing of Airborne Equipment

Wet Heat Testing of Airborne Equipment-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The hot and humid environment may cause aircraft onboard equipment to corrode and absorb moisture, causing changes in equipment performance. The purpose of the hygrothermal test of aircraft airborne equipment is to determine the ability of the equipment to withstand natural or induced humid atmosphere.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the environmental testing capabilities for various aircraft airborne equipment, and provides professional environmental testing services such as heat and humidity testing, sand and dust testing, mold testing, and salt spray testing for aircraft airborne equipment.

Scope of tests

Category A - Equipment subjected to standard hot and humid environment Standard hot and humid environment is often used as the corresponding test environment for equipment installed in the environmental control cabins of civil aircraft, non-civilian transport aircraft and other types of aircraft. Harsh hot and humid environments are not typically encountered in the environmentally controlled cabins of these aircraft.
Category B - Equipment subjected to harsh hot and humid environments. Equipment installed in non-environmentally controlled areas can work under more severe humid atmospheric environmental conditions, and the working time exceeds the time specified in the standard hot and humid environment test.
Category C - Equipment subjected to external hot and humid environment. The equipment is required to work in direct contact with the outside air, and its working time exceeds the time specified in the standard hot and humid environment.
