Test Background
The purpose of the temperature test of aircraft airborne equipment is to determine the adaptability of airborne equipment to the temperature environment encountered during aircraft shutdown, storage and use. If the cooling capacity of key equipment is lost during the flight of the aircraft, its functional failure will constitute or cause faults that prevent the aircraft from continuing to fly safely and land.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the environmental testing capabilities for various aircraft airborne equipment, and provides professional environmental testing services such as temperature testing, sand and dust testing, mold testing, and salt spray testing for aircraft airborne equipment.
Type of test
Temperature tests are divided into 4 categories, including:
a) Withstand test: The endurance test is divided into two categories, namely the ground high temperature tolerance test and the ground low temperature tolerance test.
b) Working test: Working test is divided into two categories, namely high temperature working test and low temperature working test.
c) Short-time working test: Short-time working test is divided into two categories, namely high-temperature short-time working test and low-temperature short-time working test. If the working test temperature is the same as the short-time working test temperature, the short-time working test does not require assessment.
d) Flight cooling capacity loss test is applicable to equipment that needs to be cooled to ensure normal operation during high-temperature operation. Equipment cooling is provided or powered externally.
test temperature
Test temperatures include ground high and low temperature tolerance temperatures; high and low temperature operating temperatures; high and low temperature short-term operating temperatures; and flight cooling capacity loss test temperatures.
The ground temperature tolerance depends on the extreme high and low ambient temperatures encountered by the aircraft when parked at the ground airport, that is, it depends on the geographical range in which the aircraft is used;
The operating temperature depends on the type of aircraft on which the airborne equipment is intended to be installed and its location on the aircraft; the short-term operating temperature depends on the withstand temperature; the flight cooling capacity loss test temperature depends on the design of the specific equipment.
