Geological instrument long mold test

Geological instrument long mold test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The mold growth test is to test the product's ability to resist mold and whether the equipment is harmfully affected by mold under conditions conducive to mold growth (that is, in a high-humidity, warm environment and in the presence of inorganic salts). The purpose of the mold growth test on geological instruments is to determine the impact of the degree of mold growth on the performance of the product and its materials when used, transported and stored in areas where mold grows, so as to evaluate the adaptability of the product to mold growth.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various geological instrument products, and provides professional mold growth testing services for geological instrument products.

Test method

Test method 1: After 28 days of culture, determine:
1. Appearance inspection to determine the degree of mold growth;
2. Physical damage caused by mold growth;
3. The impact of mold growth on functional and/or electrical properties, if required in relevant specifications. If relevant specifications require checking functionality and/or measuring electrical properties, the incubation period should be extended to 56 d.
Test method 2: After pretreating the sample with nutrient solution, culture it for 28 days to determine:
1. Appearance inspection to determine the degree of mold growth;
2. Physical damage caused by mold growth;
3. The impact of mold growth on functional and/or electrical properties, if required in relevant specifications.
By using nutrient solutions to simulate contamination of non-mold-growing samples, the mold-resistant properties of the sample surface will be reduced.
This effect should be taken into account if functionality is checked and/or electrical properties are measured. Mold will occur if nutrient solution is used. If there is no mold, the influence of antifungal agents should be considered.
