Geological instrument dust test

Geological instrument dust test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The sand and dust test is suitable for testing the shell sealing performance of products, mainly to simulate the damage caused by sand and dust storms to geological instrument products. The purpose of the geological instrument sand and dust test is to determine its adaptability and sealing integrity in sand and dust environmental conditions.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various geological instrument products, and provides professional sand and dust testing services for geological instrument products.

Test method

1. Remove oil and dirt from the surface of the product under test.
2. The product under test simulates the actual installation method and is fastened to the rotary table of the sand and dust test chamber. The required sand and dust are placed in the sand and dust test chamber. The surface of the product under test that is susceptible to wind and sand attacks should be perpendicular to the direction of airflow when the rotary table rotates. The cross-sectional area of the product under test perpendicular to the airflow at any time should not be greater than half of the cross-sectional area of the effective space of the sand and dust test chamber.
3. The temperature and humidity in the sand and dust test chamber are kept under normal atmospheric conditions.
4. The rotary table of the sand and dust test chamber rotates and sprays airflow, so that the high-speed airflow containing sand is sprayed towards the product under test.
5. After the test period expires, stop spraying and the workbench stops rotating. 30 minutes after the stop, take the tested product out of the sand and dust test chamber.
6. Remove the floating dust on the surface of the product under test and restore it under normal atmospheric conditions for 1 hour.
7. Final inspection: According to the provisions of the technical standards (technical conditions) of the tested product, the appearance of the tested product shall be inspected. The tested product shall not have damage to the surface protective layer, glass roughening, damage to the structural parts, dust entering the interior, etc. The tested product shall be tested on the electrical and mechanical properties. The test results shall comply with the provisions of the product technical standards (technical conditions).
