Test Background
Humidity will affect the external physical and chemical properties of the product. Humidity and temperature are always mutually coupled environmental factors that exist at the same time. The combined effect of moisture and heat will cause: accelerated oxidation and electric corrosion on the metal surface; accelerated electrochemical reaction of the surface organic coating, destroying the protective effect of the surface coating; expansion of the material due to adsorption of the material, thereby causing structural damage; due to the influence of physical phenomena such as moisture absorption and adsorption, it will cause adverse effects such as reduced electrical insulation performance.
The purpose of the humidity test of geological instruments is to determine their suitability for use, transportation and storage under specified hot and humid environmental conditions. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various geological instrument products, and provides professional humidity testing services for geological instrument products.
Test method
1. Initial inspection: Place the tested product under normal atmospheric conditions for 1 hour, and inspect the appearance, mechanical properties and electrical properties according to product standards.
2. The product under test should be placed in the test chamber in the "ready for use" state without power and in the normal working position, and preheated for 1 hour under the specified temperature conditions. When the product under test reaches a stable temperature, the humidity in the test chamber should be gradually raised to the specified range to prevent condensation on the product under test.
3. Constant temperature and constant humidity maintenance time; the tested product must be maintained at the specified temperature and humidity conditions for at least 48 hours.
4. Intermediate measurement; after the test period expires, turn on the power of the product under test, inspect the electrical performance, mechanical performance and appearance of the product under test according to the product technical standards (technical conditions), and then disconnect the power supply.
5. Storage test: The tested product after intermediate measurement is put back into the test box, and the temperature and humidity of the test box are adjusted to the storage conditions and kept for 48 hours. During storage, it should be ensured that 100% relative humidity does not occur.
6. Recovery: After the test period expires, first stop humidification, then take out the product under test and restore it for 24 hours under normal atmospheric conditions.
