Detection background
The dry and wet heat dimensional change rate of textiles refers to the dimensional changes in the length and width directions of textiles in dry and wet heat environments. It is usually expressed as a percentage of the original dimensional change. Textile dry and wet heat dimensional change rate testing can determine the dimensional change rate of textiles after being treated with dry heat or wet heat conditions.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various textile raw materials and products, and provides professional dry, wet and thermal dimensional change rate testing services for textiles.
TEST PRINCIPLE
The sample is conditioned in a specified standard atmosphere, marked and measured with a ruler or other measuring tools for initial dimensions. Subsequently, after being treated under specified temperature, humidity and time conditions, its dimensions are measured again, and the dimensional change rate of the sample after dry heat or moist heat treatment is calculated.
