Test Background
Environmental testing of road vehicle electrical and electronic equipment can predict how the product usage environment affects the performance and functionality of the product based on the possible environmental loads of systems/components installed at specific locations on/in the vehicle. When a product's functionality is affected, environmental testing is used to identify the cause and take steps to protect the product from environmental effects to maintain product reliability.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability performance testing of various road vehicle electrical and electronic equipment, and provides professional environmental testing services for road vehicle electrical and electronic equipment.
Scope of tests
1. Starting system Starting system: including starter and its control circuit.
2. Ignition system: including ignition coil, igniter, distributor, spark plug, etc.
3. Lighting system: including lighting devices on the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
4. Signal device: including audio signals and light signals, providing necessary signals for driving.
5. Instruments and alarm devices: including speedometer, engine tachometer, water temperature meter, fuel meter, voltage (current) meter, oil pressure meter, air pressure meter and various alarm lights.
6. Auxiliary electrical equipment: including wipers, windshield washers, air conditioning systems, car audio and video equipment, window lifters, electric seats, electric sunroofs, electric rearview mirrors, etc.
7. Electronic control system: including electronic automatic transmission, electronic suspension, ABS/ASR, electronic power steering, traction control and cruise control, airbags, seat belts, central anti-theft door locks, automatic air conditioning, multi-function electric seats, multimedia interfaces, electric windows and new power management systems that meet the requirements of various electrical equipment, as well as navigation systems, vehicle network systems, status monitoring and fault diagnosis systems, etc.
Sequence of test:
Free drop test → Mechanical impact test → Temperature cycle test → Dustproof and waterproof test → Salt spray test → Damp and heat cycle test → Vibration test → Steady state damp and heat test
