Dust can be a physical factor, a chemical component, or both that promotes the deterioration of materials or equipment components. It can also become a wear material for moving parts of equipment. Stationary surfaces can even be damaged by windblown dust. Security equipment installed outdoors needs to work around the clock in harsh outdoor environments. If its dustproof capabilities are not up to standard, the clarity and accuracy of the surveillance video may be affected.

Trial objective
tests the ability of the specially treated housing of the test sample to prevent the entry of fine dust. This test is not intended to simulate natural or man-made environments.
Test method
In this test, the test sample is invaded by air filled with a large number of unground dust particles of a specified size.
The interior of the specified type of test sample should be lower than the atmospheric pressure of the external environment to allow dust to enter the interior of the sample. A certain amount of dust makes the dust density very high and uniform. Talcum powder can be used as dust.
