Trial objective
Constant humidity and heat test (working state): Test the ability of the equipment to operate normally in an environment where short-term high relative humidity may occur and there is no moisture condensation.
Constant heat and humidity test (durability): Tests the ability of the equipment to withstand long-term humidity effects in the use environment (for example: changes in electrical properties caused by chemical reactions such as moisture, galvanic corrosion, or adsorption).
Test method
Constant heat and humidity test (working state): Place the test sample in an environment with constant temperature and high relative humidity. During the test, condensation on the surface of the test sample should be avoided. The length of time that the test sample is exposed to the hot and humid environment is selected based on the criteria of allowing water mist adsorption on the surface (but not condensation).
Constant heat and humidity test (durability): Place the test sample in an environment with constant temperature and high relative humidity. During the test, condensation on the surface of the test sample should be avoided. Exposure time is chosen to allow for moisture uptake and chemical changes to occur.
