Test Background
The waterproof test of ship equipment shells is suitable for water dripping, spraying, spraying and immersion tests on ship equipment that requires waterproofing to assess its waterproofing capabilities. The main purpose of the waterproof test of ship equipment shells is to assess whether the ship equipment shells and seals can have good protective performance during or after the test to ensure that the equipment can operate normally and reliably.

Environmental Effects
When water enters or penetrates into ship equipment, the following effects will occur:
1. Cause electrical and electronic equipment to malfunction, or cause danger due to changes in surface insulation resistance characteristics.
2. Water inside the equipment causes parts to swell or crack, causing equipment damage or malfunction.
3. High humidity forms inside the equipment, promoting corrosion or mold growth.
Enclosure waterproof type
Anti-drip type: dripping water cannot enter the inside of the device when the device is tilted to an angle of 22.5° or 45° with the plumb line
Anti-spray type: Water is sprayed within 60° of the plumb line and cannot enter the inside of the equipment
Splash-proof: splashing water from any direction cannot enter the inside of the device
Anti-spray type: violent waves and water jets when washing the deck cannot enter the inside of the equipment
Watertight: The equipment is immersed in water from time to time under the specified water pressure, and water cannot enter the inside of the equipment
Submersible: Under specified pressure, equipment that is immersed in water periodically or for a long period of time cannot allow water to enter the interior of the equipment.
