Environmental Effects
1. Heating effect.
Changes in solar radiation intensity can also cause components to expand or contract at different rates, which can cause dangerous stresses and damage the device's structure. In addition to the thermal effects of high-temperature tests, solar radiation may also produce these effects: stuck or loosened moving parts, reduced strength of welds and bonded parts, reduced accuracy or failure of connection devices, reduced sealing integrity, changes in the performance of electrical or electronic components, premature action of electrical contacts, etc.
2. Photochemical effect.
Ultraviolet rays in sunlight cause photochemical effects that may cause damage, such as fading of fabrics, cracking and fading of coatings, damage to natural and synthetic rubbers, and polymers.

1. Solar radiation intensity requirements:
Test level A: completely exposed to the open air, used for open-air equipment on ships.
Test level B: Illumination through glass windows, applied to cabin equipment exposed to sunlight.
