Marine equipment high temperature test

Marine equipment high temperature test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The purpose of high-temperature testing of ship equipment is to reveal the changes in mechanical and electrical properties of ship equipment samples under specified high-temperature test conditions, and to evaluate the adaptability in high-temperature ship environments based on the test program and technical conditions of the samples.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has various ship equipment environmental test equipment and high-temperature test capabilities. It provides professional ship equipment high-temperature test services for gyrocompasses and electrical equipment in cabins.

Environmental Effects

High temperature is one of the important environmental factors of ship equipment. Various equipment installed on the open deck, in the engine room and close to the heat source will be affected by the high temperature environment. High temperatures can change the physical properties and dimensions of equipment materials, affecting equipment performance or even failure.
Some typical problems caused by ship equipment in high temperature environments are as follows:
1. The viscosity of the lubricant decreases and even the lubricating ability is lost;
2. The filling and sealing strips are damaged, and the shaft and bearings are deformed, causing mechanical failure;
3. Temperature gradient changes lead to changes in electronic circuit performance, reduced accuracy or damage;
4. Transformers and electromechanical components are overheated and overloaded;
5. For equipment parts with complex structures, due to different expansions of different metals, jamming or loosening may occur.

Test Grade

The high temperature test temperatures corresponding to each ship equipment are as follows:
45±2℃: gyro compass and electrical equipment in the cabin, etc.
50±2℃: Equipment in the cabins of conventional submarines and surface ships, etc.
55±2℃: Equipment in the power compartment of surface ships, etc.
60±2℃: Ship open-air equipment, etc.
70±2℃: Ship open-air equipment, etc.
