Test Background

Humidity and heat aging test is suitable for products that may be used in warm and humid environments. Humidity test, constant humidity and heat, and alternating humidity and heat are one type of aging test. Different polymer materials have different formulas, so their damp heat aging mechanisms are also different. When conducting damp heat aging tests, different aging standards must be selected based on different polymer materials. The damp heat aging test is usually carried out in a damp heat aging test chamber. The temperature and humidity can be set according to the test requirements.
Common humidity effects: loss of physical strength, changes in chemical properties, degradation of insulation materials, electrical short circuits, oxidative corrosion of metal materials, loss of plasticity, accelerated chemical reactions, degradation of electronic components, etc.
