Test Background
The ozone aging test is mainly aimed at the sensitivity of rubber and plastics to ozone. It uses environmental simulation to accelerate the aging process of rubber by ozone, thereby testing the aging resistance of rubber and plastic products. The ozone aging test requires exposing the sample to a closed, non-illuminated air containing constant ozone concentration and a constant temperature test chamber. The sample is tested at a predetermined time to evaluate the ozone aging resistance of the sample based on the degree of cracks or other changes in properties that occur on the surface of the sample.
