Type Test Testing

Type test (type test) is a test conducted to verify whether the product can meet all the requirements of the technical specifications. It is an essential link in new product identification. Only after passing the type test can the product be officially put into production. However, for product certification, redesigned new products are generally not certified.
The type test conducted for the purpose of certification is to conduct conformity assessment on one or more representative samples using test methods. For general products, the basis for type testing is product standards. For special equipment, type test is the prerequisite for obtaining manufacturing license, and the test is based on the type test procedures or type test details. The number of samples required for the
test is determined by the certification body, and the test samples are randomly selected from the final products of the manufacturer. The test is conducted at a recognized independent inspection agency. For individual special inspection items, if the inspection agency lacks the required inspection equipment, it can be conducted using the manufacturer's inspection equipment under the supervision of an independent inspection agency or certification agency.

d) when the product is resumed after a long-term suspension of production;
e) when the factory inspection results are significantly different from the previous type inspection;
f) when the national quality supervision agency proposes type inspection requirements.

1. Structural strength test: Test whether the product structure is firm and stable, and whether it can withstand various external forces.
2. Environmental protection test: Test the product's resistance to environmental pollutants, such as waterproof, dustproof, mildewproof, etc.
3. Electromagnetic compatibility test: Test the stability and anti-interference ability of the product in the electromagnetic environment.
4. Safety performance test: Check whether there are dangerous factors when using the product, such as electric shock, leakage, etc.
5. Reliability testing: testing indicators such as product long-term service life and failure rate.
6. Standard compliance testing: testing whether the product meets various mandatory or voluntary certification standards, such as CE certification, UL certification, etc.
