CPC Testing and Certification

Children’s Product Certificate, CPC (abbreviated as CPC certification), is a children’s product safety certificate applicable to all products with children aged 12 and under as the main target, such as toys, cradle, children’s clothing, etc. If produced locally in the United States, the manufacturer is responsible for providing it. If produced in other countries, the importer is responsible for providing it.
In which the manufacturer or importer certifies that its children's product complies with all applicable children's product safety rules. Certification of children's products must be based on passing test results from third-party testing. Third-party testing laboratories provide testing services and results and can issue children's product certificates.

Children's products (consumer products designed for children 12 years old or younger, or consumer products 12 years old or younger as the main user), such as: children's toys, children's clothing, children's school supplies, etc.;

CPSC has published a total of 38 standards, the main testing contents involved are:
1) CPSIA total lead and phthalate;
2) American toy standard ASTMF963;
3) Electric toy safety standard 16 CFR Part 1505;
4) Rattle toy requirements 16 CFR Part 1510;
5) Pacifier safety standard 16 CFR Part 1511;
6) Children's clothing, carpet combustion performance, such as 16 CFR Part 1610;
7) Toddler products: product standards for strollers, cribs, fences, carriers, safety seats, bicycle helmets and other products.
