VOCs Testing

VOC is the abbreviation of Volatile Organic Compounds, that is, organic volatile compounds. Contains toluene, ethylbenzene, styrene, formaldehyde, ethanol, tetradecane, TVOC, etc. Zhongke Testing provides VOCs testing services and has CMA and CNAS qualification certification.

From the perspective of environmental monitoring, VOCs detection is the detection of non-methane total hydrocarbons detected by hydrogen flame ion detectors, which mainly include alkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, olefins, halogenated hydrocarbons, esters, aldehydes, ketones and other organic compounds. These compounds mainly come from key industries that emit VOCs such as petrochemicals, chemicals, industrial coatings, and packaging and printing.

From the perspective of industrial product testing, VOCs testing is the detection of benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, styrene, formaldehyde, TVOC (alkanes with 6-16 carbons), ketones and other substances. These compounds are volatile and lipophilic and are widely used in industrial fields such as footwear, toys, paints and inks, adhesives, cosmetics, and interior and automotive decorative materials.

VOC and VOCs are actually the same type of substance, the English abbreviation of Volatile Organic Compounds. Since volatile organic compounds generally have more than one component, VOCs are more accurate.
