Flushability test of disposable sanitary nonwoven materials

Flushability test of disposable sanitary nonwoven materials-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

Flushability means that the product can maintain the smooth flow of flush toilets and drainage pipe systems under expected conditions of use, and is compatible with existing sewage transportation, treatment, reuse and disposal systems. Waste becomes unrecognizable within a reasonable period of time and has the performance of being dispersible and degradable.
The flushability test of disposable sanitary nonwoven materials can determine the flushability performance of disposable sanitary nonwoven materials. The test methods include wet fracture strength pre-test, toilet and drainage pipe cleaning test, shaking box decomposition test, household pump test, settlement test, aerobic biological decomposition/degradation test, anaerobic biological decomposition/degradation test, and municipal sewage pump test, a total of 8 tests and evaluation methods.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has reliability testing capabilities for various nonwovens and provides professional flushability testing services for disposable sanitary nonwovens.

Scope of tests

is suitable for disposable sanitary non-woven materials that are declared to be directly thrown into the toilet for dispersion and degradation, including dry/wet wipes for infants and young children, dry/wet wipes for female care, dry/wet wipes for toilets, etc.

Test method

Through a total of 7 tests including toilet and drainage pipe cleaning test, shaking box decomposition test, household pump test, sedimentation test, aerobic biodegradation/degradation test, anaerobic biodegradation/degradation test and municipal sewage pump test, the unobstructed performance of the toilet and drainage pipes after use of the sample and the decomposition performance, sedimentation performance, degradation performance, and sewage pump compatibility of the sample were tested and evaluated during the municipal sewage treatment process.
The 7 test methods are used to test and evaluate the flushability of the product. The wet fracture strength pre-test is only used as a reference and not as a judgment index.
