Test Background
Engineering machinery tires are installed on engineering machinery vehicles for specialized operations, such as loaders, bulldozers, excavators, land levelers, road rollers, and stonework machines. The driving speed is not high, but the road conditions and load performance used are demanding. The tires mainly use bias tire structure. The durability test of engineering machinery tires can determine their durability performance.

Scope of tests
Engineering machinery tires are divided into heavy-duty dump truck tires, loader tires, excavator tires, scraper tires, bulldozer tires and road roller tires, etc. According to the tire cross-sectional shape, it can be divided into narrow base tires, wide base tires and ultra-wide base tire gas types.
Test method
1. Readjust the tire pressure to the specified value after parking, and then park the vehicle for 15 minutes.
2. Install the tire-wheel assembly prepared according to the above conditions on the test shaft, pressurize it vertically on the outer surface of the drum, and conduct the test in accordance with regulations.
3. The test shall be carried out according to the prescribed conditions, and the prescribed procedures shall be carried out continuously without interruption, re-adjustment of air pressure, or artificial cooling of the tires, and the corresponding test loads at each stage shall be kept unchanged.
4. After the tire has completed the test according to the prescribed procedures or if the tire is found to be damaged such as bulges and delamination, the machine must be stopped immediately. The tire pressure, main dimensions and tread temperature should be measured within 1 hour. After natural cooling, remove the tire for visual inspection.
