Test Background
The waterproof material products made by impregnating the carcass with asphalt or polymer waterproof materials are provided in the form of rolls, which are called waterproof rolls. Waterproof membrane is a rollable sheet waterproof material and one of the important types of waterproof materials in construction projects.
Peel performance between plastic and rubber lap widths varies depending on material, lap method, overlap size and operating technique. The building waterproofing membrane seam peeling test can measure the joint peeling performance of the same polymer roofing waterproofing membrane.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various building waterproofing membranes, and provides professional seam peeling test services for building waterproofing membranes.
Scope of tests
1. According to the main composition materials, it is divided into asphalt waterproof membrane, polymer modified asphalt waterproof membrane and synthetic polymer waterproof membrane.
2. According to the different carcasses, they are divided into carcassless rolls, paper carcass rolls, glass fiber carcass rolls, glass cloth carcass rolls and polyethylene carcass rolls.
Test method
The principle of the seam peeling test is to stretch the specimen at a constant speed to peel off the overlapped seam until the specimen is damaged, and continuously record the tensile force of the entire test.
1. The specimen should be tightly clamped in the fixture of the tensile testing machine so that the longitudinal axis of the specimen coincides with the axis of the tensile testing machine and fixture. The entire distance between the clamps is (100±5) mm and does not bear preload.
2. The test temperature of the specimen is (23±2)°C, and the tensile speed is (100±10) mm/min. Continuously record the tensile force and elongation of the specimen until the specimen separates.
3. Record the damage pattern of the joints.
