Test Background

The adhesive strength of the sole refers to the force required to peel off the interface of the sole of unit width. The upper sole bonding strength test is a test method for peeling the upper from the outsole, separating the composite layers of the sole, and tearing and damaging the upper or sole. It can measure the bonding strength of the sole and upper.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various complete shoes and shoe components, and provides professional upper and sole bonding strength testing services for finished shoes.

Scope of tests

Complete shoes (closed shoes), such as adhesive shoes, vulcanized shoes, injection molded shoes, etc.

Test method

1. Use a tensile machine that can continuously record the tensile force to measure the force required to peel off the upper and sole.
2. Clamp the sample on the clamp of the tensile machine, use a clamp to clamp the short edge of the sole, peel off at a speed of 100 mm/min ± 20 mm/min, and record the force-deformation curve. After the test, observe the damage on the peeling surface and classify according to regulations.
