Test Background
Rubber and plastic hose lining abrasion resistance test The abrasion resistance of the hose lining can be measured by passing a certain amount of gravel through the hose.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various rubber and plastic hoses, and provides professional lining wear resistance testing services for rubber and plastic hoses.
Scope of tests
is suitable for rubber and plastic hoses with an inner diameter of 20 mm~50 mm used for sand blasting, shot blasting and similar operations.
Test method
1. Weigh the sample accurately to 0.1 g.
2. Check the sand flow rate by collecting and weighing the total amount of gravel flowing in a given time period. It should be (42±2) g/s at an air pressure of 250 kPa.
3. Install the specimen vertically in the sandblasting chamber and use a clamp to obtain the correct position. The bending radius r should be 6 times the nominal diameter of the hose.
4. Connect the sandblasting nozzle to the sample and check to confirm that the deviation between the sandblasting nozzle and the center line of the sample does not exceed 1°. The sandblasting nozzle should be inserted 25 mm~50 mn into the specimen.
5. Load 25kg of new, previously unused gravel into the sand box in the sandblasting room.
6. Set the pressure to (250±25) kPa.
7. Start sandblasting and continue for (40±1) minutes.
8. Take out the sample from the sandblasting chamber, remove the remaining sand by blowing air into the pipe, and brush the outer coating of the hose.
9. Weigh the sample accurately to 0.1 g.
