Test Background
The xenon arc lamp test for rubber and plastic hoses can be used to evaluate the solar aging performance of rubber and plastic hoses in various fields such as automobiles, petrochemicals, coal mining, marine engineering, engineering machinery, etc. It is a basic and very important test.
The Xenon Arc Lamp Test on Rubber and Plastic Hoses exposes rubber and plastic hoses to a laboratory light source to evaluate changes in color and appearance resulting from such exposure.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various rubber and plastic hoses, and provides professional xenon arc lamp testing services for rubber and plastic hoses.
Scope of tests
According to the purpose, it is mainly divided into: threading hose, drainage hose, ventilation hose, shower hose, and wiring harness tube.
According to the material, it is mainly divided into: corrugated hose, rubber hose, and plastic hose.
Test method
1. Expose rubber or plastic hose to radiation from a xenon arc lamp in a stress-free and specified environment for a predetermined period; then inspect to visually evaluate any changes in color and appearance.
2. Other exposure conditions and evaluation of other parameters may also be used according to agreement between manufacturer and user.
