Heat-resistant dipped canvas high temperature bonding performance test

Heat-resistant dipped canvas high temperature bonding performance test-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

One of the main reasons for the common problem of low service life of heat-resistant conveyor belts is that high-temperature operation causes the bonding delamination between the rubber and the reinforced skeleton material and the adhesion delamination between the skeleton materials, resulting in the separation of the stress-bearing layer of the conveyor belt skeleton and the rubber covering layer, causing the conveyor belt to lose its operating ability. In order to improve the product quality of heat-resistant dipped canvas, it is necessary to stipulate test methods for its adhesive properties under heat-resistant temperatures and strengthen the adhesive properties of heat-resistant dipped canvas under high temperature conditions.
The high-temperature bonding performance test of heat-resistant dipped canvas can measure the bonding performance between canvas layers of heat-resistant dipped canvas at heat-resistant or higher temperatures.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various heat-resistant dipped canvases, and provides professional high-temperature bonding performance testing services for heat-resistant dipped canvases.

Test method

1. Make the sample mold blank from rubber-impregnated canvas and rubber in a certain order, and prepare it into a sample after vulcanization.
2. Place the sample into the high-temperature thermostat of the tensile testing machine and clamp it on the upper and lower holders. After preheating for the specified time, peel the sample canvas layer from the adjacent canvas layer at a constant speed. Measure the peak value of the peeling force during the peeling process. The ratio of this value to the width of the sample is the bonding strength of the impregnated canvas at that temperature; the ratio of the minimum peeling force to the width of the sample is the minimum bonding strength of the sample at that temperature.
3. Calculate the rubber coverage of the two peeling surfaces of the sample, and use the smaller value as the rubber coverage of the sample.
