Test Background
Dip cord is one of the most important skeleton materials used in the tire industry. The bonding performance between dipped cord and rubber is an important guarantee for tire safety performance. Especially in recent years, the rapid development of high-performance tires and the improvement of tire manufacturing technology have put forward higher requirements for the bonding performance of cords.
Compared with the traditional belt-type fatigue peeling and H extraction tests, the peeling test method of a single dipped cord and rubber has more stringent conditions and has stricter requirements on the production process of the cord. This is because the adhesive peeling performance is a dynamic indicator to measure the bonding between the dipped cord and rubber. The adhesion and peeling performance test between dipped cord and rubber can measure the adhesion and peeling performance of a single dipped cord and rubber in a specified environment.

Scope of tests
is suitable for testing the vulcanization bonding and peeling performance of dipped cords and rubber made of fibers. The peeling performance test of dipped yarns, cords and rubber can be used as a reference.
Test method
1. Arrange a single dipped cord in a mold according to certain rules and then mix it with rubber in a certain order to make a sample mold blank. After vulcanization, prepare a flat strip sample.
2. Use a tensile testing machine to peel off the adhesive interface between the cord and rubber in the sample at a constant speed, and measure the mid-peak value of the peeling force during the peeling process. The ratio of this value to the number of cords in the peeled sample is the peeling force of a single dipped cord, in N/cord;
3. The ratio of the effective rubber coverage area of the dipped cord surface to the effective peeled area after the sample is peeled off is the rubber coverage of the sample, expressed as the percentage of the exposed surface of the cord.
