Test Background
Rubber-impregnated cords or cords are the most important and widely used skeleton materials in the manufacturing of rubber products such as rubber tires, hoses, and transmission belts. The physical and chemical changes that occur at the bonding interface between these products and the rubber under dynamic conditions lead to the quality of their bonding performance, which directly affects the service life and performance of the rubber products.
Especially in the tire industry, the effective bonding of dipped cords, cords and rubber is a key technology for rubber tires. The basic requirement for this bonding is to maintain good adhesion after dynamic, high temperature, and fatigue aging. The dynamic adhesion performance between dipped cords, cords and rubber is the basic method to measure the adhesion performance of dipped cords and cords.
The dynamic adhesion performance test of dipped cords and cords is to test the dynamic adhesion performance of dipped cords, cords and rubber under the real conditions of simulating the real state of tires during driving or the operation of transmission belts. This test plays a decisive role in the fatigue resistance of tires, transmission belts and other rubber products and their ability to withstand harsh environments, and will be directly related to the safety and service life of rubber products.

Scope of tests
is suitable for the dynamic bonding performance evaluation of rubber-impregnated cords and cords used in rubber products and rubber.
Test method
1. Vulcanize the dipped cord or dipped cord with rubber to prepare a sample.
2. First, firmly connect the two ends of the sample to two load weights of different masses. Use the weights to straighten the sample to be tested and fix it on a testing device with heating function.
3. During the test, at a certain temperature, the rubber block in the sample is made to perform reciprocating shearing motion with a certain amplitude and frequency relative to the cord or cord in the sample along the direction of extension of the sample through a swing mechanism, causing continuous dynamic shearing between the cord or cord and the rubber interface. As the test continues, the adhesion between the cord or cord and the rubber interface will gradually decrease, and the test will stop when the test set time is reached; or the test will be continued until the rubber block and the rubber-impregnated cord or cord fall off.
4. The adhesion retention rate of the sample after a certain period of testing under the set reciprocating shearing frequency, temperature and swing amplitude or the number of reciprocating shearing motions when the sample is tested under the set reciprocating shearing frequency, temperature and swing amplitude until the sample is damaged and falls off is used to characterize the dynamic bonding performance of the impregnated cord or cord and rubber at a certain temperature.
