Test Background
The porous rubber and plastic dynamic buffering performance test can determine the dynamic performance of porous rubber materials and rigid and flexible foam plastics by measuring the maximum deceleration when an object falls on the test piece. This test is mainly used for quality assurance and design data.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various rubbers and provides professional dynamic buffering performance testing services for porous rubber and plastics.
Scope of tests
is only suitable for porous rubber and plastic packaging materials.
Test method
1. Take the original thickness of the test piece as required, measure the density of each test piece according to ISO 845, and ensure that the drop weight is in a safe position.
2. Place the test piece on the backing plate of the instrument and prepare to drop the weight to impact the test piece.
3. According to the specified impact speed and static stress, impact the test piece once every 60 s ± 15 s at a fixed predetermined speed and static stress, for a total of 3 times.
4. Measure the peak deceleration at the first and third impact of the falling weight. Each test piece is only adapted to a specific static stress and impact speed.
5. After the test piece is subjected to three impact tests, let it sit for 5 minutes and then measure its thickness.
