Test Background
Rubber and metal are two different materials. Their chemical structures and mechanical properties are very different. The bonding of vulcanized rubber and metal glue utilizes the high elasticity of rubber and the high strength of metal to obtain better strength and durability. It also has functions such as vibration reduction and wear resistance.
The bonding of metal and rubber has been widely used in many fields such as automobile manufacturing, military industry, roads and bridges, and machinery manufacturing. The Vulcanized Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber to Metal Bond Strength Test determines the bond strength of rubber to metal bonded between two parallel metal plates.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various vulcanized rubbers or thermoplastic rubbers, and provides professional bonding strength testing services to metal for vulcanized rubbers or thermoplastic rubbers.
Scope of tests
Vulcanized rubber: flat vulcanizing machine vulcanizing type, vulcanizing tank vulcanizing type, continuous vulcanizing type, special vulcanizing type, etc.
Thermoplastic rubber: polystyrene, polyurethane, polyolefin, polyester, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-acrylate copolymer, polyethylene-butyl rubber joint copolymer, etc.
Test method
This method determines the force required to cause bonding failure of a standard size sample. The sample consists of two parallel metal plates bonded to a rubber layer. The direction of the force is 90° to the bonding surface.
Test standard:
