Test Background
When maintaining a certain tension, the deformation of rubber changes with time. After a period of time, when the tension is released, the recovery of the rubber cannot be complete, and a certain residual deformation will remain. This is the creep characteristic of rubber. The vulcanized rubber creep test measures the creep properties of vulcanized rubber under sustained compression or shear.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various vulcanized rubbers and provides professional creep testing services for vulcanized rubber.
Scope of tests
In terms of its vulcanization method, vulcanized rubber can be roughly divided into:
1) Flat vulcanizing machine vulcanization: flat tapes such as conveyor belts and transmission belts;
2) Vulcanizing tank vulcanization: rubber hoses, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, air bags, rubber strips, tapes, roller coatings, pipe linings, cables, etc.;
3) Continuous vulcanization: sealing strips, pure rubber hoses, wires and cables, etc.
Test method
obtains various test results from creep increment, creep index and compliance increment. If there are no special provisions, the test results should be taken as the median. If necessary, the test results can also be obtained one by one. If the test results exceed ±10% of the median, the test results of this set will be invalid and all will be redone.
