Static bonding strength test of vulcanized rubber-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

Impregnated fiber cord is the main skeleton material of rubber products such as tires. Its adhesion to rubber after vulcanization is an important quality indicator for evaluating its performance. The main methods for testing the adhesion are H extraction method, U extraction method, T extraction method and peeling method. The H extraction method is generally used in China to evaluate the adhesion between dipped cord and rubber.
Vulcanized rubber static bonding strength test The H extraction method can be used to determine the static bonding strength of tire fabric cords and vulcanized rubber.

Scope of tests

In terms of its vulcanization method, vulcanized rubber can be roughly divided into:
1) Flat vulcanizing machine vulcanization: flat tapes such as conveyor belts and transmission belts;
2) Vulcanizing tank vulcanization: rubber hoses, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, air bags, rubber strips, tapes, roller coatings, pipe linings, cables, etc.;
3) Continuous vulcanization: sealing strips, pure rubber hoses, wires and cables, etc.

Test method

1. Evaluate the bonding properties between rubber and fiber cords by measuring the force required to pull a single cord out of a vulcanized rubber block. This force is applied along the longitudinal axis of the cord. The length of the cord embedded in the rubber is fixed.
2. The measured adhesion force is the shear force value acting on the cord-rubber interface. The specimen formed by the rubber blocks at both ends and the cord connected in the middle resembles the letter "H", from which the test method is named.
