Vulcanized rubber sliding wear test-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

The sliding wear performance of vulcanized rubber refers to the tangential resistance and material loss generated on the common contact area of two relatively sliding objects. The sliding wear test of vulcanized rubber can be measured by Grassili abrasion machine.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various vulcanized rubbers and provides professional sliding wear testing services for vulcanized rubber.

Scope of tests

In terms of its vulcanization method, vulcanized rubber can be roughly divided into:
1) Flat vulcanizing machine vulcanization: flat tapes such as conveyor belts and transmission belts;
2) Vulcanizing tank vulcanization: rubber hoses, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, air bags, rubber strips, tapes, roller coatings, pipe linings, cables, etc.;
3) Continuous vulcanization: sealing strips, pure rubber hoses, wires and cables, etc.

Test method

1. Under a certain normal force, press the rubber sample against the rotating friction surface of the testing machine for friction, and measure the wear resistance and friction coefficient of the sample that consumes unit work within a certain number of revolutions.
2. Calculate friction work, volume wear, wear resistance, friction coefficient, etc. respectively.
