Heat-resistant dipped canvas high temperature bonding properties

Heat-resistant dipped canvas high temperature bonding properties-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

Heat-resistant dipped canvas is often used to produce heat-resistant conveyor belts, which can reduce the number of layers of skeleton materials, reduce the manufacturing cost and transmission power consumption of conveyor belts. The high-temperature bonding performance of heat-resistant dipped canvas can be prepared by vulcanizing the heat-resistant dipped canvas and rubber into a sample, and testing its bonding strength, rubber coverage and other bonding properties under temperature conditions of 100 ℃ ~ 200 ℃.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various heat-resistant dipped canvases, and provides professional high-temperature bonding performance services for heat-resistant dipped canvases.

Scope of tests

dipped polyester-cotton canvas, nylon dipped canvas, EP dipped canvas, dipped curtain canvas, etc. for conveyor belts.

Test method

1. Make the sample mold blank from rubber-impregnated canvas and rubber in a certain order, and prepare it into a sample after vulcanization.
2. Place the sample into the high-temperature thermostat of the tensile testing machine and clamp it on the upper and lower clamps. After preheating for the specified time, peel the sample canvas layer from the adjacent canvas layer at a constant speed, and measure the peak value of the peeling force during the peeling process.
3. The ratio of this value to the width of the sample is the bonding strength of the dipped canvas at that temperature; the ratio of the minimum peel force to the width of the sample is the minimum bonding strength of the sample at that temperature.
4. Calculate the rubber coverage of the two peeling surfaces of the sample, and use the smaller value as the rubber coverage of the sample.
