Test Background
Moisture absorption and release performance refers to the material's own absorption/release performance of water vapor. The moisture absorption and release performance test of building materials can test the moisture absorption and release performance of building materials with humidity adjustment functions.
Zhongke Testing and Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various building materials, products and components, and provides professional moisture absorption and release performance testing services for building materials and products.
Scope of tests
1. Interior decoration materials such as paint, putty, wallpaper and boards;
2. Diatomaceous earth, zeolite, sepiolite, vermiculite, allophane and other materials with humidity adjustment function;
Test method
1. Determination of moisture absorption/release in a single cycle
a) Step 1: Set a relative humidity value for the moisture absorption process;
b) Step 2: Set a lower relative humidity value for the dehumidification process.
2. Periodic moisture absorption/release cycle test: Select the relative humidity value and conduct the test according to regulations. Maintain the specified relative humidity for 12 hours, then reduce to a relative humidity of 12 hours.
The above process constitutes a cycle, which is repeated four times. Record the sample mass, temperature, and humidity in accordance with regulations.
