Nuclear radiation detector active material test

Nuclear radiation detector active material test-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

Detector active material tests include mechanically active materials and chemically active materials. The environmental conditions for mechanically active materials are mainly sand, floating dust and settled dust in the air. The environmental conditions for chemically active substances are mainly salt spray and chemical gases from sea salt, as well as road salt in the environment where ground vehicles are used.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various nuclear radiation detectors, and provides professional active material testing services such as sand and dust testing, salt spray testing, etc. for nuclear radiation detector products.

Test Items

Sand and dust test: sand, dust (floating), dust (settling), soot settling
Salt spray test: sea salt, road salt, chemical gas

Test method

1. Sand and dust test:
1) The sand test is recommended to use the sand blowing method, and the test duration is 4 h; the dust test (including flotation and sedimentation) is recommended to use the free dust falling method, and the test duration is 4 d.
2) After the sand and dust test, in addition to meeting the performance characteristics of the test sample, its appearance and structure should be free of mechanical damage, insulation reduction or overheating.
2. Salt spray test:
1) The duration of the test can be selected from 16 h, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, 96 h or 168 h.
2) After the salt spray test, in addition to meeting the requirements for performance characteristics, the appearance and structure of the test sample should be free of corrosion, rust, surface deterioration or insulation reduction.
