Company Profile
The tensile strength of optical fiber largely reflects the manufacturing level of the optical fiber. Practical optical fiber tensile strength requires a tensile force greater than 240g. At present, the tensile strength of commercial optical fibers has reached 432g. The optical fibers used in domestic engineering are generally greater than 400g. The better optical fibers abroad are above 700g. The strength of optical fibers used in submarine optical cables is even higher.
The main factors that affect the tensile strength of optical fiber are the manufacturing materials and manufacturing process of the optical fiber; of course, excessive residual stress during the production and use of the optical fiber will also affect the tensile strength of the optical fiber. The purpose of the tensile strength test of optical fiber products is to determine the tensile strength value of the optical fiber sample.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various optical fibers and provides professional tensile strength testing services for optical fiber products.
