High temperature performance test of coated sand

Coated sand is a kind of sand base that uses high-quality selected natural sand, a resin coating system with special properties and the most ideal process technology. According to the technical needs of different users, it strives to achieve the most perfect combination of normal temperature performance, high temperature performance, collapsibility, fluidity, casting surface roughness, etc. It is widely used in automobile engines, diesel engines, hydraulic parts and other industries.
The high-temperature performance test of coated sand is suitable for testing the high-temperature properties of coated sand for casting such as high-temperature compressive strength, high-temperature heat-resistant time and high-temperature expansion rate.

1. By applying pressure to the coated sand sample in a high temperature environment and measuring the maximum pressure required for the sample to be destroyed (collapse), the high temperature compressive strength of the coated sand can be calculated (displayed).
2. By applying a constant load to the coated sand sample in a high-temperature environment, and measuring the time it lasts from when the sample is placed in the high-temperature furnace to when it collapses, it is the high-temperature heat resistance time of the coated sand sample.
3. The coated sand sample undergoes dimensional changes due to heating at high temperatures. The high-temperature expansion rate can be obtained by measuring the ratio of the change in the linear direction to the original size of the sample using an instrument.
