Test Background
The gasket material and metal surface adhesion test is suitable for the determination of the adhesion between polytetrafluoroethylene gaskets, fiber gaskets, graphite gaskets and other non-metallic gaskets and metal surfaces.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various non-metallic gasket materials, and provides professional reliability testing services such as liquid resistance test, tensile strength test, softness test, compression rate rebound rate test and other non-metallic gasket materials.
Test method
A sample of the gasket material is placed between two parallel flat metal plates as a flat plate-sample assembly. After the component is subjected to a load under specified conditions, the sample is separated from the flat circular plate, and the required tensile force is measured to evaluate the degree of adhesion between the gasket and the metal surface. The maximum test temperature recommended for this method is 205°C.
