Test Background
The softness test of non-metallic gasket materials can be used to measure the ability of non-metallic gasket materials to withstand storage, transportation and processing. The impact of the gasket material's ability to withstand damage when punched into the gasket and during installation cannot be ignored on the service performance of the gasket.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability to test the reliability performance of various non-metallic gasket materials, and provides professional reliability testing services such as liquid resistance test, tensile strength test, softness test, compression rate rebound rate test and other non-metallic gasket materials.
Test method
The specimen is bent 180° around a round rod, the diameter of which is related to the thickness of the specimen. Materials with fiber orientation are tested both transversely and longitudinally. High temperature adjustment is used to simulate storage period, and low temperature adjustment is used to simulate storage and transportation in low temperature environment. You can also perform a softness test after being immersed in various liquids.
